Stuck for some great Irish Tunes to learn? Are you trying to get a few more Tunes under your belt just to expand your collection or to bring to a session? In the run up to St. Patricks day, I wanted to put together a good resource to help you learn 6 great Irish Tunes fast. I have the Tune, played slow and at a normal-ish speed. The True Story Behind the Song "Kilkelly, Ireland”
Songwriter Peter Jones was helping his parents clear out their attic when he found a wooden box. Inside was a bundle of fragile, yellowing letters that had been preserved for over a century. These letters were addressed to Peter’s great-grandfather, John Hunt, who emigrated from Ireland in 1855.
